Yes. Rather than leaving it sitting loose, we anchor it properly to the wall, balcony, fence or a level base so it can't shift, tip or sag — using fixings suited to the surface, and non-damaging methods where you rent.

We level it as part of the install — packing, adjustable feet or a simple base as needed — so it sits square and stable rather than twisting on uneven ground and straining the joins.

Often, yes. We seal it where it meets the house and can add a shade or roof panel if the kit doesn't include proper cover, so your cat gets a dry, shaded spot through Melbourne's weather.
